Fighting Over Crumbs.

"When we steal from each other, we are simply fighting over crumbs. It's time to direct attention to the loaf-holder."

Stuffed animals mark the spot of where we lost the life of one of our own.

While we do understand that it’s counterproductive to kill each other, we also recognize the real reason to why we feel the need.

It’s important for us to decipher the difference between a symptom and a problem. In most cases, crime is a symptom to a bigger problem. A running nose, sore throat and constant sneezing is a symptom to a bigger problem; a cold in most cases.

Vandalizing, burglarizing and killing in our communities in most cases, is a symptom to a bigger problem - poverty. Institutionalized racism in this country deprives many blacks from opportunities to escape poverty, leaving them to find any mechanism they can to survive.

Our only mission is for our community to see that when we kill each other, we are reducing our army. When we steal from each other, we are simply fighting over crumbs. It’s time to direct attention to the loaf-holder.
